Growth

I am surrounded by tremendous growth.

Cayleigh and Lauren continue to amaze me with their development. Lauren is becoming quite the flirt and comedian - she constantly smiles, laughs, and coos. She's almost ready to roll over and she's quite fond of a few choice toys. Cayleigh is speaking in small sentences now, can count to five on her own and ten with assistance. She sings what she calls "bee-sees" (ABCs) hundreds of times per day. The other morning I came downstairs dressed for work and she greeted me with "you look cute daddy." She's too smart for her own good, I think.

Needless to say, Becca has her hands full but she's enjoying it I think. We took a brief vacation trip down to Myrtle Beach; I'll try to post the photos and video clips soon.

My team at work is busier than I've ever seen a team in my almost five years at BCBS of SC. We have a mountain of critical projects with stair-step deadlines in what I have taken to calling "the perfect codestorm." I'm putting in lots of hours and am hoping for a much less eventful fall. It could be worse; as yet our bubble boom has yet to burst.

Still trying to keep up with a busy life,

- Scott
